Alex Jarman is Chief Executive of Investing for Good and has over 20 years of impact investing and finance experience. He has been involved in numerous policy initiatives and high level sector engagement to advance impact investing best practice. He is responsible for strategic direction at the impact advisory specialist firm and also leads on structuring blended finance vehicles and arranging mezzanine finance, convertibles, loan notes and other debt instruments (with an emerging and frontier market focus) as well as investor distribution, impact management, product innovation and key strategic partnerships. His work spans both designing innovative instruments to raise investment from new actors, as well as designing more efficient mechanisms to achieve impact goals. He also offers whole-of-market advice and strategy implementation across all asset classes to investors transitioning into impact investing. Alex has a background in managing investment mandates for private banking clients and holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation. He is an investment committee member of an impact VC firm focused on early stage ventures and a mentor of an accelerator programme for growth impact business.
