As a Manager of the Member Engagement Team, Olive is responsible for cultivating strong relationships and partnerships with members and stakeholders across the Private, Public and Philanthropic sectors who have an interest in blended finance. Olive brings over 12 years of experience in Stakeholder Engagement, Public Policy, Debt Issuance, Liquidity Management and Financial Sector Regulation; understanding the nexus between public and private actors in the financial sector.

Prior to joining Convergence, Olive worked at Raymond James Investment Counsel (Toronto) and MD Financial Management (Ottawa) where she helped build and maintain relationships with investors. Olive also worked as an Economist at the Central Bank of Kenya for several years, where she gained expertise in macro-economic analysis of emerging markets and financial market operations. Olive began her career working on product development for the retail and corporate banking segments in Kenya.

Olive holds a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration, from the School of Public Policy at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from Illinois State University. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
