Women’s World Banking achieves a closing of $75M for its second gender lens investment fund, Women's World Banking Capital Partners II.

Convergence’s grant was used to design Fund II. The $100 million fund aims to improve women’s financial inclusion through a blended approach, by leveraging concessional equity to attract commercial investors to invest in women-focused financial services providers in emerging markets.

Currently, Convergence is accepting applications until June 1 for its Asia Natural Capital Design Funding Window and until August 10 for its Indo-Pacific Design Funding Window for the design and launch of catalytic blended finance solutions in certain countries in the Indo-Pacific region focused on sustainable and resilient infrastructure and gender equality.
