Co-led by UN Economic Commission for Africa, UN Department for Economic and Social Affairs, and Convergence Blended Finance this Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development pre-event will convene African Country representatives, UN representatives, and mobilization experts to identify best practices for blended finance solutions to mobilize private investment at higher quantity and quality (e.g., debt sustainability and sovereign loan affordability) to African countries’ priorities, aligned with the Financing for Development 4 Outcome Document (first draft) and the COP29 New Collective Quantified Goal on Climate Finance.
This session is part of the Scale Private Investment Mobilization Project funded by the Gates Foundation, Finland, France, Luxembourg, and Switzerland.
