The Climate Investment Planning and Mobilization Framework is a key component of a programmatic approach led by the NDC Partnership and the Green Climate Fund (GCF) to accelerate and streamline the implementation of climate strategies, and foster climate action.
The Framework aims to establish a common reference point and language for countries and climate finance providers, guiding them through the stages: from planning and setting climate goals to identifying, prioritizing, and mobilizing the necessary funding.
The Framework encompasses all sources of climate finance, including public funding from national governments and international donors, private investments from corporations and financial institutions, as well as blended finance.
